We forgot to have the cake at the party so we invited some of the neighborhood kids over for cake the next day.

The day after the party, Patrick made me breakfast. That is the videoke machine in the background.

We threw ourselves a combined birhtday party and inveited some firends we made in the neighborhood and our co-workers. You can't have a party without a videoke machine. Patrick is singing now and everyone is facing the machine.

Patrick opening his birthday gift, an ice bucket with tongs! We drink warm beer, so you add ice to the glass to get it chilled, hence the ice bucket is an important party item.

This is New Years Eve at a bar in Manila. That is me with our friends Kate ( sitting next to me) and Jody ( above me). All of us work with kids here. Kate is with special needs, abandoded and abused kids and Jody works with an orphanage.

Here is the boat to Mindoro. We are sitting on the top of it and below is a big room with a low ceiling and bench seats. We decided to go up top so if anyone got sick, it would be easier to deal with. Beth and I are under the tented area.
